Propeller Polishing Aarhus

Sub Blue Robotics are able to offer diverless propeller polishing in Aarhus.

Propeller Polishing Aarhus

In the last 10 years, Sub Blue Robotics have taken their innovative idea of robotic propeller polishing, cleaning and inspection from the paper to a working solution. The company started out their innovation of propeller polishing in Copenhagen, but have since moved the company to Odense.

After several years of testing their robot with real propeller polishing in Denmark, they now have made a solution that not only takes the diver out of the equation, but eases the process. This makes it more convenient for vessel operators to get propeller polishing, cleaning and inspection in Northern Europe. Sub Blue Robotics have already had successful tests of propeller polishing in Rostock and Aarhus and the vessel operators of Hurtigruten have seen their potential, buying propeller polishing in Oslo port.

The robot is not only capable of delivering a result that matches the old methods of propeller polishing, it is not limited by the same restrictions divers face with maximum submerged durations or rules that makes cleaning the propeller while the vessel is being loaded impossible. The robot can clean the average propeller in around 10 hours and it is possible to operate the propeller polishing robot day and night, making propeller polishing more flexible than ever.

According to Sub Blue Robotics, propeller polishing, cleaning and inspection in Rotterdam, will be one of their focus areas the following year. They have also decided to offer their propeller polishing and inspection service in Skagen and Fredericia.
